Jesse Solomon

Visual Specialist

Jesse Solomon is many things—writer, musician, filmmaker, comedian, caffeine enthusiast, and an addict in recovery, just to name a few. More than anything, he is a man who believes in the power of storytelling. However, his own story started out with less of a “once upon a time” and more of a “warning: don’t try this at home.” Born and raised by a single mother in Los Angeles, Jesse’s early life was marked by struggles with addiction and mental illness. For over 10 years, Jesse battled with the world and himself, armed to the teeth with every pill, powder, and potable he could get his hands on.

Everything changed in 2019 when he stepped through the doors of Beit T’Shuvah, a Jewish recovery center. After not taking a single sober breath for over a decade and burning university, community college, and a once-promising screenwriting career to the ground, Jesse became willing to try a new way of living- recovery! As a resident, he immersed himself in the community's programs, finding solace in community and creative expression. These artistic endeavors had been some of the only things tethering Jesse to sanity during active action, and he quickly recognized their immense power to help himself and others on their pathways to recovery. Through the rehab’s “druggie buggies” (the vans that take residents to meetings) he found the 12 steps. In these rooms that were chocked full of people with rich stories and not-so-rich coffee, Jesse met Jeff and Dalton, who showed him a pathway to blend his passion for both coffee and recovery.

As the Visual Specialist of Pink Cloud Coffee, Jesse brings his love for storytelling and his deep belief in community support into everything he does. Drawing from his own experiences, he believes that the act of sharing one’s story can be a form of healing. At Pink Cloud Coffee, his creative vision doesn’t just revolve around the brew—it’s about creating a space where people can come together, share their journeys, and find hope in every sip.
