Dalton Deutsch
COO & Co-Founder
Dalton Deutsch’s journey is a testament to the power of second chances and the strength that can come from community. Originally from the Washington D.C./Maryland area, Dalton's path wasn’t always smooth. After high school, he bounced around several colleges, struggling with personal challenges that led him to a pivotal turning point. In 2016, he found himself in West Los Angeles, seeking treatment and looking for a way out of the cycle.
But what stands out about Dalton isn’t just his story of recovery—it’s the way he’s turned that story into a lifeline for others. Since 2018, he’s made it his mission to help those facing the same battles he once did.
Starting out as a dishwasher at 14, he worked his way up through the ranks, eventually becoming a regional manager for a local Santa Monica restaurant chain (somehow finding a way to keep multiple restaurants open during the COVID pandemic). It’s in those humble beginnings that Dalton found a passion—not just for food, but for people. Service, for him, became more than a job; it became a calling.
In 2023, he partnered with Arch to launch Pink Cloud Coffee, a social enterprise with a bigger mission than just serving coffee. It’s about building a community that’s centered around hope, connection, and recovery. Dalton’s vision for Pink Cloud is clear: a space where people find not just a coffee, but a reminder that recovery is possible and that every story, including his own, is proof that redemption is real.
